Cazamond Tells the Story of Damietta and Its People

Before Talking About Its Projects

by Marwa Abo Almajd

At a time when real estate campaigns typically focus on projects, buildings, and investment advantages, Cazamond has chosen a different path by launching an advertising campaign celebrating the city of Damietta, Ras El Bar, and their people, positioning them as the heart of the place and its true identity.

The campaign comes as Cazamond enters a new phase of growth and expansion through new projects in New Damietta and New Mansoura. However, rather than focusing on a specific real estate project or promoting one of the company’s developments, the campaign delivers a human-centered message that reflects Cazamond’s longstanding connection to Damietta and the Delta region, the environment in which the company was established and through which it has developed residential communities over the years.

Through the advertisement, Cazamond highlights the details that shape the identity of Damietta and Ras El Bar, from local crafts and industries to customs and traditions, as well as the spirit of their people, their hospitality, and the everyday experiences that give the city its distinctive character.

Through the campaign, Cazamond adopts a different approach to communicating with its audience, based on the idea that cities cannot be defined solely by their buildings, but rather by their people, culture, and the stories and experiences that unfold across their streets, homes, and communities.

This approach reflects the company’s long-standing relationship with the Delta region. Cazamond began its journey more than eight years ago as a company specialising in engineering, architectural, and structural design before evolving into one of the region’s prominent real estate developers. The company has successfully delivered more than 80 residential buildings, while also introducing the concept of boutique residential communities to the Delta.

Trust has been one of the key pillars shaping the company’s journey. Amid Egypt’s economic crisis and currency depreciation in 2023, coupled with significant increases in construction costs, Cazamond maintained its commitments to its customers, honoured its signed contracts, and delivered the agreed-upon units without asking customers to pay any additional increases. This helped strengthen customer confidence in the company and reinforce its position in the market.

As the company enters a new phase of expansion through new projects in New Damietta, Cazamond seeks to preserve the same values that have guided it since the beginning, foremost among them trust, quality, and a genuine connection with the communities in which it operates.

Mohamed Tharwat, Director of Cazamond, said:

“For us, Damietta is not simply the place where we work or the area where our journey in real estate development began. It is part of our story and identity. That is why we felt that the best way to express our relationship with the place was not by talking about a new project, but by celebrating the people who create the spirit of this city every day. This advertisement is a message of appreciation for Damietta and its people, and for the values we have learned from the community of which we have always been a part.”

The campaign’s message goes beyond celebrating Damietta and its people. It also represents a first step toward a broader vision adopted by Cazamond to contribute to repositioning New Damietta and New Mansoura as distinctive destinations on Egypt’s map of attractive cities.

Through its presence and new expansion in Damietta and New Mansoura, Cazamond believes that the next phase represents an opportunity to rediscover the Delta region and highlight its cultural, human, and tourism potential, as well as its rich history, crafts, heritage, and strategic location.

The company believes that urban development is not limited to constructing projects, but begins with creating a new image of a place and drawing attention once again to its assets and distinctive characteristics. Against this backdrop, the campaign marks the beginning of a new phase in which Cazamond aims to become part of the journey to return Damietta and New Mansoura to the list of attractive Egyptian destinations, while contributing to presenting them in a way that reflects their status and potential.

This vision comes alongside Cazamond’s expansion plans through new projects in New Mansoura and New Damietta, reflecting the company’s desire for its presence in the cities to form part of a broader development process — one that focuses not only on buildings and projects, but also on the place itself and the community to which it belongs.
