inDrive, the leading ride-hailing app in Egypt and the MENA region, announces its Ramadan initiative for its Captains this year. The initiative features a contest with a family-oriented theme, extending beyond Ramadan and culminating in celebrations for Eid al-Fitr.
The top Platinum drivers in Cairo who complete the highest number of trips during the first three weeks of Ramadan, from the 1st to the 21st, will be rewarded across three categories with special prizes: gold coins, Eid clothing vouchers for the Captains and their children, and fuel vouchers.
The top rewarded Platinum drivers in the first category will be invited, along with three family members, to a special Iftar event. This Iftar event embraces a family-oriented Ramadan theme, featuring Ramadan-themed activities and games for the Captains’ children, as well as the distribution of exciting giveaways.
Alaa Shalaby, inDrive’s Country Manager, remarked:”We would like to celebrate this Ramadan with our dedicated drivers and their families as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work throughout the year, completing thousands of trips and receiving positive feedback from users. Maintaining platinum status is a complex challenge that requires effort not to be underestimated.”
Shalaby added: “Supporting our driver communities in Egypt is one of inDrive’s top priorities. We aim to continue such initiatives throughout the year—not just during Ramadan or special occasions—offering a variety of incentives and rewards. These efforts help maintain high-quality service, enabling drivers to earn more and receive positive reviews from users.”
