Strategic collaboration leverages Vezeeta’s technology to connect obesity and diabetes patients with its network of doctors and maximize the benefits of their treatment plans
In a technology-driven strategic move to enhance the digital healthcare experience, Vezeeta, the leading digital healthcare platform in the Middle East and Africa, announced a collaboration with EVA Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical company in Egypt, to launch an integrated digital care pathway supporting obesity and diabetes patients by facilitating access to doctors and nutritionists as part of a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem.
As part of the collaboration, Vezeeta will provide a smart link through EVA Pharma’s “My Journey Beyond Weight” page, an awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness of obesity as a chronic disease and promoting a better understanding of the importance of healthy weight management and improving quality of life.
The link will enable patients to access a network of accredited doctors and nutritionists registered on the platform. The experience is powered by Vezeeta’s digital infrastructure and telehealth technologies, providing patients with a seamless and integrated way to access medical consultations and nutritional follow-up without the burden of travel or traditional procedures.
The initiative is aligned with the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030 in healthcare and sustainable development, which focus on improving citizens’ quality of life and accelerating digital transformation across the healthcare sector. The partnership integrates digital platforms, patient-support programs and treatment solutions to empower individuals to access early and continuous care for non-communicable and chronic diseases, particularly obesity and diabetes, which are among the most prevalent conditions in Egypt.
