QNB Egypt, a subsidiary of QNB Group, has won 12 international awards in 2026 from leading global financial institutions, reaffirming its leading position in the Egyptian banking sector and its excellence in providing innovative and diversified banking solutions that meet the needs of different customer segments.

In the field of digital banking services, the Bank was named Best Digital Bank in Egypt 2026 by Global Banking & Finance, in recognition of its continued investments in developing digital solutions and enhancing the efficiency of its electronic services. Through these investments, the Bank is responding to the accelerating shift toward digital banking by expanding the range of services offered through online and mobile banking platforms.

In the retail banking sector, the Bank was named Best Retail Bank in Egypt 2026 by both Global Banking & Finance and Capital Finance International, reaffirming its success in expanding its customer base and enhancing the competitiveness of its retail banking services. This performance was reflected in strong growth in customer deposits, which reached EGP 879 billion by the end of March 2026, recording a 13% increase compared to the end of 2025, driven by the Bank’s continued expansion in providing a diverse range of savings and financing solutions that meet the needs of a broad spectrum of customers.

At the corporate and large corporate banking level, the Bank received two Best Corporate Bank in Egypt 2026 awards, in addition to being named Best Trade Finance Bank in Egypt 2026 by Global Banking & Finance, reflecting its strong capabilities in supporting major corporations and providing integrated financing solutions. This role is reflected in the continued expansion of financing for economic and productive activities, with the loan and advances portfolio reaching EGP 498 billion, an increase of EGP 31 billion and a growth rate of 7% compared to December 2025. This growth underscores the Bank’s pivotal role in financing businesses and supporting trade and investment activity.

As part of its ongoing support for the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) sector, the Bank received five prominent awards, including Best SME Bank in Egypt from Global Banking & Finance, Capital Finance International, and The Digital Banker. It was also named the Fastest-Growing SME Bank in Egypt 2026 by International Finance Magazine, and received the Best Non-Banking Services Initiative for SMEs in North Africa award from The Digital Banker. These awards reflect the Bank’s commitment to providing an integrated ecosystem that supports the growth of this vital sector through innovative financing and non-financing solutions.

The Bank also strengthened its leadership in treasury services by receiving the Best Treasury Services Bank in Egypt 2026 award from Global Banking & Finance. This reflects the strength of its financial position and the efficiency of its liquidity management. Total assets increased to EGP 1.044 trillion by the end of March 2026, recording a growth rate of 12%, while the Bank maintained a strong capital adequacy ratio of 24.6%.

In customer experience, the Bank received the Customer Experience Excellence in Egypt 2026 award from International Finance Magazine, reflecting the success of its strategy that places customers at the heart of its priorities. This recognition further confirms the success of its integrated approach, built on its belief that it is “more than just a bank,” through the continuous development of products and services and the enhancement of the customer journey, supported by a branch network of 239 branches covering various parts of the country.

Commenting on these achievements, Mohamed Kheir, Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Officer of QNB Egypt, said: “These awards reflect the level of trust that the Bank enjoys among its customers and partners, while also reaffirming the success of our institutional approach in achieving tangible results across our various business segments. We continue to work on strengthening our position as a trusted financial partner by delivering real value to our customers and supporting their expansion plans and future aspirations.”
